Missionary has been an important element from the very beginning of Christian History, according to New Testament's narrations, it began with the activities of Jesus and his disciples. As a result of the early Apostles' activities Christianity gradually became more and more popular, and finally, in fourth century, became the formal religion of the Roman Empire. At the same time, monasticism developed among Christian community. Saint Benedict (d c 547) was one the important figures in Christian monasticism and his mystical order practice an influential effect in the growth of Christian spirituality. Gregory, a follower of Benedictine tradition, was appointed as a Pope and had a crucial influence on the spread of Christianity. In 597 C. E. he sent Augustine of Canterbury along with forty monks of Saint Andrew's monastery to the Britain. By combination of monastic rules with the Church teachings they succeeded to spread Christianity among the British pagans.

Wisdom and faith are undoubtedly the most important religious subjects which have always been taken into consideration. There are different opinions about the relationship between these two concepts among Moslem and Christian scholars. The purpose of this study is the interpretation and explanation of wisdom and faith, the presentation of general approaches towards them, and the investigation of Mollasadra's point of view as the famous Moslem intellectual and Pope John Pole's as the official opinion in Catholic Christianity. It concludes that Islam is a rational religion and there is no expression against wisdom. The acceptance of the religion's principles is possible through reasoning while there may exist some issues above it and the religion's instructions should not oppose rationality. In contrast Christianity lacks reasoning in its principles and teaching so it has to seek mystery and accept the faith without wisdom.

This article intends to study Alexander Popes "The Rape of the Lock" from a psychological point of view with emphasis on the myth of rape and the symbolic connotations of the rape. In the fancy world of sylphs, gnomes, and nymphs, there are two forces of superego that challenge the power of ego :one representing tradition/art and the other functioning as the good sense. It is through the clash between these two forces that Popes protagonist takes her journey to the wishes of id. Despite the sociological interpretations of the poem, the writer wishes to prove that Popes poem is a masterpiece not for its mock-heroic style nor for its satiric and moral purposes. "The Rape of the Lock" is rather a deep portrayal of human nature in the stream of works that continue the tradition of passion vs. purity.

We study here T0-Q-bitopological spaces and sober Q-bitopological spaces and their relationship with two particular Sierpinski objects in the category of Q-bitopological spaces. The epireFLective hulls of both these Sierpinski objects in the category of Q-bitopological spaces turn out to be the category of T0-Q-bitopological spaces. We show that only one of these Sierpinski objects is sober Q-bitopological space and its epireFLective hull in the category of T0-Q-bitopological spaces turns out to be the category of saturated T0-Q-bitopological spaces.

The Sherley brothers' mission in Iran dealt with some aspects. They carried a message from England and the Christian world to Shah Abbas. In addition, they trained Iranian army and taught them how to make artillery, they fought with the Iranians against the Ottoman Empire shoulder to shoulder and both of them were sent to Europe for political and commercial purposes by Shah Abbas. Shah Abbas sent the brothers with the intention of making the west frontier active against the Ottoman Empire. Anthony Sherley was sent to Europe once and not getting any result, he didn’t come back to Iran. Moreover Robert Sherley, his younger brother, who was respectfully held as a hostage in Iran, was sent to Europe twice, owing to the fact that Shah Abbas liked him and utterly trusted him. Although the Sherley brothers couldn’t yield much result during their mission, the mission facilitated political relationships of Iran and Europe and made closer ties, especially by including the fact that their mission was not limited to any special country, that they paid particular attention to powerful governments and also the fact that the Pope was taken into consideration. Their presence in the scope of political relationships, definitely, was not irrelevant to the Pope and the Christian priests' prior intentions. Such missions made the priests partly jealous of the Sherley brothers. Meanwhile, it also made the priests partly happy with them. On the one hand Carmelites supported the Sherley brothers and in particular Robert whose wife, Treza, was baptized by them. On the other hand, the Portuguese Augustinian priests noticed the effective presence of the Sherley brothers against the Portuguese and Spanish national interests especially by taking the fact that Shah Abbas succeeded in deporting the Portuguese from south of  Iran and Hormoz with the help of the British.

The present study aims to focus on Alexander Pope’ s controversial mock epic, The Rape of the Lock, to investigate the effects of Repressive and Ideological State Apparatus on the formation of characters’ identities in this 18th century poem. It seeks to analyze the ideological atmosphere in The Rape of the Lock and discusses the complexities of notions such as materialism, virtue, womanhood and conciliation in characters’ actions, words and belief on the basis of Louis Althusser’ s theories of interpella-tion and Repressive and Ideological State Apparatuses. It analyses the details of the poem to determine Alexander Pope’ s views as a social critic who tries to question the ideologies of his time by his satirical portrayal of the superficial social interactions, the corrupted political system and the process of women’ s identity formation in this poem. The analysis reveals that Pope manages to resist being interpellated and avoids judgment of the characters by depicting the ambiguous nature of the sociopolitical ideologies and by resorting to the ideals of art instead.
